Application
Liquid Diutan gum OceanVis ODG-PL is a versatile polysaccharide and can be used in most types of water-based fluids for rheology modification, hole cleaning and solids suspension. It provides excellent friction reduction for coiled tubing operations. It is useful over a wide range pH range. DG-P was the first truly stable thickener for hydroscopic acid used in the oilfield. The ODG-PL suspension is uniquely stable, easily handled and useful in both oilfield and non-oilfield applications.
OceanVis-ODG-PL solutions show a strong ability of water retention capacity, salt tolerance, suspending power, and thermal stability ranging from 5 to 150 °C. It is stable across a wide pH range and can be used in weighted and unweighted drilling fluids, completion fluids, and other systems.
OceanVis ODG-PL is generally non-polluting and safe to handle. The LC50 base 96-hour range finder tests using Mysid shrimp, was 1,000,000 ppm.
Package and Storage
OceanVis ODG-PL is packaged in 20kg/5gal Cans , 210Kg/55 Gal drums or 1000kg/275 gal IBC Tanks
International packaging may vary. And they shall be stored in a shady and dry place with good ventilation.
Safety
They shall be avoided contact with eyes, skins and clothes, otherwise flush it with water. Handling methods and dangerous data shall be referred to MSDS.
