Zinc carbonate basic reacts with H2S to form Zinc Sulphide which has an extremely low solubility in water (0.0096 g/cc.) and in reaction is not reversible.
Recommended treatment
Zinc carbonate is usually added at 3.75 - 8.0kg/m³ (1.5 - 3.0lbs/BBl) depending on requirements. Zinc Carbonate is a fully effective control for Hydrogen Sulphide.
Zinc Carbonate is available in 25 kg plastic sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
Customized packings are available on request.
The product is moisture absorbent, thus to protect from damp and moist for conservation. it should be stored in dry and ventilate store house and not to be exposed to air and sunshine.
They shall be avoided contact with eyes, skins and clothes, otherwise flush it with water. Handling methods and dangerous data shall be referred to MSDS.
